Though, Rika, sorry. You'll never be a better Atsuhime than Miyazaki Aoi was. ^^;

QFT. That was my favorite Taiga Dorama, no question about it.

It is absolutely amazing. ): <3
Ryomaden is equally awesome though. HUGE recommend if you're into taiga dramas and would want to watch one. <3

^ I haven't seen that one yet. I used to watch the taigas (subtitled) on KTSF Channel 26 in San Francisco, but they stopped showing them after Tenchijin. :(

My other favorite is Yoshitsune, which had an amazing cast (Tackey, Matsuken, Uetty, Gocchin...).

I've watched half of Yoshitsune. XD I moved while watching so I stopped watching it, and then Atsuhime started so I forgot about it.. XD And the full subs for Ryomaden aren't out yet so haven't finished that one either.
I'm not watching Gou though, so might finish Yoshitsune soonish?
I need to watch Tenchijin too. @.@ And Shinsengumi. @_@; Then I'm done I think. the one for next year sound amazing, too. *__*

When I visited Kamakura in 2006, I bought a little phone bauble thingy of Hello Kitty in samurai garb. One of the women working in the souvenir shop pointed out to me that Kitty was dressed as Yoshitsune. I told them that I had watched the taiga drama on TV in California, and they were really surprised by that.

Goto Maki news!

In January 2012, she will take a break from showbiz. She wrote a personal letter on her website to her fans about it.
Wrote that she's lived for someone else most of this time (joined H!P to get money for her family etc, and continued singing cause her mom loved it etc etc) and when her mom passed away last year, she started to think a lot. She feels as there's a big hole inside of her right now and she has no idea of what to do or how to live for herself.
Which is why she'll put her career as "Gomaki" on hold.

She also wrote about certain events that will happen before this though.
In July her new song will be able for download (via cellphone) and she will take part in a-nation. She'll also release her first full album this fall and in December she'll have a solo concert for the first time in about 4 years. Yes I'm going even if it'll cost me jfkldsjfkljds.
More details will be announced in July.

I hope not. ): I think she's born to be on stage.
But I definitely understand that she needs some time off and get to think and all. ): I just hope she gets to feel better.
