She chose is because of the phrase "虎に翼" -- "tora ni tsubasa", or "wings of a tiger". English equivalent is making the strong even stronger. Her son's name is Toranosuke (虎之助).
She says she wants them to get along when they grow up, to be courageous and not scared of anything, and to become "strong" siblings (I assume in a "strong bond" kind of a way).
