Momo talks about her graduation thesis on her radio show, Momoko no Puri Puri Princess

...she comments on her thesis - she's completed it, and handed it in. With 20 000 characters, it went over 50 pages and looked like a contract.
Her thesis was on disabled people, particularly the status of those in a persistent vegetative state - people who have some form of awareness but can no longer move.
She interviewed their families, who were at times in despair, or pointing out things like "Sensei, their leg moved."...

She's pretty amazing. And that explains why she hasn't been that active in stuff lately - or as much as she used to.
I love that UF prioritize school for the girls. <3

It takes a smart girl to be able to juggle both because not everyone can do it. Girls especially Japanese ones need good role models. I wish there were more idols like Momoko in this world.

Momoko has an annoying persona but she really is kind of a role model. Doing school while being a popular variety act really shows girls that what she is on TV is just a persona and it's okay to be smart. Good for her.

Idol or not, I can't help but be impressed by Momoko. I think she has a real ability to reach to people. Full-time idoling and teaching at the same time can only be done by a superhuman.

This is coming from someone who just had an internship as a teacher of a 5th grade class. Teaching isn't for me...

Girls Live episode is off this week (2/13) due to TV Tokyo's coverage of the Olympics, Women's curling. its also off on its BS-Japan channel as well. (2/15). on the 20th, there will be Olympic highlights, so the episode will start late. nobody wants to watch that episode anyway. :mikihead:
