That's what you're taking too literally. I meant it to include the entire concept of a wota hoping that his
oshimen will notice how much he supports her, as determined by how much of her merchandise he is displaying. And it is in that sense that T-shirts are considered more valuable/important than glow sticks. You can wear only one shirt at a time (certain sewing projects notwithstanding), and bold, colorful shirts are better than black shirts with a splash of line art.
