Sayumi doesn't like being in musicals, I feel as she would definently join if it was a normal stageplay.

This musical maybe requires more difficult singing, which might explain Erina and Haruna's status.

Unless you have disturbingly low standards, they (Sayumi/Eripon/HaruNa) are definitely bad. Ayumi's still bad, too, but she's better than they are. But the rest are pretty mediocre singers (except for Sakura, Meimi, and sort of Kanyon), so it's not like she'll stand out that much.

I remember on her radio show Sayu said that one of her worst experiences in Morning Musume was playing in the Cinderella musical (forget singing, she barely has any parts at all) so yeah... her skipping on musical offers is expected

A little surprised that Maachan is there without any supervision from the older members though, for all intents and purposes aside from Harunan, 9ki and 10ki mostly acts without clear senpai-kouhai boundaries, which is great for quickly bonding the group but for a work project ...i'm not so sure. Of course there are still the managers, directors etc but I sure hope they know what they're getting themselves into lol.
On the other hand, it could be an interesting to see if Fukuhime as the subleader or the others can step up and reign her in, hell maybe even Maachan herself could surprise us by proving her growth and showing some maturity.

Yeah one way or another it'll be interesting... even more so if Sayu-Erina-Haruna get some other big projects on their own during that time
