モーニング娘。リーダー　道重さゆみさん

11年ぶりにＣＤシングル曲が3作連続で週間チャート1位になり、「再ブレーク！」と言っていただいたりします。
でも、まだまだだという気持ちの方が強くて。もっと上を目指して頑張らなきゃな、って思っています。

　私が10年前に入った時は、アイドルといえば「モーニング娘。」でした。
その頃の人気に負けたくないというんじゃなくて、「いまのモー娘。が1番いいよね」と言ってくださるファンが増えたらいいなという気持ちです。
　去年5月に８代目のリーダーになって最初は「自分らしくやればいいや」と思ってたんです。でもリーダーって「自分らしく」じゃ務まらない。
そう気づいて、グループ優先に考えるようになりました。私は歌も踊りも得意じゃないし、みんなをまとめるタイプでもない。でも、先輩達とは違う
「リーダー道重さゆみ」になろうと思って、気持ちが楽になりました。
　一番大事なのは、後輩を怒った後ですね。昔、先輩に怒られてへこんじゃって、「お疲れ様でした」ってあいさつができなかったことがあって。
怒られたまんまでもやもやした気分が残ったんです。その思いをさせたくないので、怒った日には、最後に必ず「お疲れ」って一声かけるようにしてます。

でも、いまの子たちはみんなしっかりしてますね。20代の先輩が私しかいないから。
「自分たちでやっていかなきゃ」という自覚がある子が多い。譜久村聖ちゃんと飯窪春菜ちゃんがサブリーダーなんですけど、
私がいなくなった後のための準備期間だと思ってやってほしいと伝えてます。
　9月に「The　Best！～Updatedモーニング娘。～」というアルバムを出しました。「LOVEマシーン」とかをアレンジもテンポも変えたんです。
あこがれの曲を「新生モーニング娘。」として歌えるのがすごくうれしくて、メンバーには工藤遥ちゃんみたいに「LOVEマシーン」より後に生まれた子もいますから。
こんなグループは他にないですよね。
　若い方や小さい子のファンもすごく増えました。前からのファンにお子さんが生まれて、親子でコンサートに来てくださったりとか。長く続いているからこそだな、って思います。
　1月からグループ名を「モーニング娘。'14」に変えます。いつになるかわからないけれど、私が卒業した後が、本当の「新生モーニング娘。」になると思うんです。
その先がすごい楽しみです。

i feel like a lot of the new fans are really spoiled with the internet and stuff. they never had to live through the platinum era, because some people were literally demanding for stuff relating to the new single to be shown this week.

remember when like MM used to be quiet for long periods of time, prior to blogs and stuff? ugh darkness.
but on a brighter note if they do show news related to the new single it'll be a christmas present for the fandom for it'll be on Christmas day.

More than mad, I'd say disappointed. I guess a MM PV (even what is love) would've been great, but we get a little too much of H!P's least popular group, and they don't even perform ee ka, but lesser songs, so it's only natural that interest for this episode will be low.
