This. The only thing that would've made that perfect is if they had zoomed onto the stage in scooters.

And this is maybe the first time ever I didn't think to myself "Yurina's voice is annoying." In fact they all sounded pretty good, even Maa, although Captain's voice was rather thin. And poor Momoko, as a vocalist she's like the precociously smart girl in class who, over the course of the semester, sees all the other kids catching up and passing her. What was impressive on her 6 years ago seems a little behind the times now. And Tsunku, please get rid of those freestyle-ish vocal riffs toward the end of the song. They didn't work in 2004 and still don't work now.

Also, Captain's dance skills = . She looked really pretty too. Speaking of dances, that "pulling out" move that Yurina did at about 12:35...has that always been in the dance? Because it was somehow really, erm...

OK, about KSS. Even at 12, Rikako is a freaking pro. At least, based on that PV, as far as being an idol goes, she 100% nails it. She doesn't just nail it, she "gets" it. She comes off like the Riho of KSS. I didn't really notice Ruru one way or another, can't say she annoyed me. The girl (Karen?) to Rikako's right (our left) needs to slouch less. And none of those girls can do that trumpet shimmy the way that Kanatomo can.

Even after all this time, whenever I see Hamachan on screen I'm like, "Oh look there's Starra!" for a split second.

Hey Tsunku, one more thing. Why aren't Yurina and Maasa models? Yeah, Maa could rock those plus-size fashion spreads. I mean, I know there's not too much of that in Japan but the little bit there is, she needs to represent.

I think this latest clip is the most exciting for me for that reason. They're not just going look they're doing formation dance. They've broken a few things down to explain to people WHY this shit is harder than it used to be and why MM should be applauded for it.
