I love the new image. She was kind of boring in kenshuusei and I don't think I would have enjoyed her in a typical group like juice=juice. However, had she joined a group now with the new image I might really like it.Its not that I didn't like her, but she didn't have much of a character developed. She's really pulling off the new look imo. Also I prefer when people are true to themselves. Like I miss Kanyon's personality that she had before tsunku and staff told her to calm down.

Like Ricchan is the Rie we always knew. Responsible, quite, awkward. Then Kiri is like another side to her, rebellious, fun. I liked both sides of her. Damn, I can't choose.

Was not cute, below average singing, not a stand out dancer, not an interesting personality... could never tell what it was we were supposed to like about her. I assume staff though she would blossom into either a great talent or a great beauty but she never did. Some people are just not idol material, and that's totally fine. There are other great pursuits in life.

She looks better now but that doesn't mean she should have debuted in Hello! Project. Hope she's happy and all, but it just wasn't a good fit and I'm glad whichever party finally found the separation point rather than keep stringing her along.

Yeah, in Idol-dom you pretty much need one of the big three: Talent, Looks, or Personality. Having one will get you through the door, having 2 will make you an excellent idol, having all three and you're Eri effing Kamei. She had none and I never got it.
