Just had a flashback to maybe 7 years ago when I was complaining about how HP needed to be cooler and have more cool songs.

My how times have changed.

Wild prediction: one of the six new members introduced this year will be an OhaGirl next year.

It just occurred to me that if you include Kirari/Koharu and Momochi, H!P has had a pretty consistent relationship with OhaSuta going all the way back to 2006, and there’s no reason for it to end now. The average age of H!P was trending up, however, making it difficult to find anyone young enough to be a suitable OhaGirl after Funakki.

And then six very new, very young members joined the game all at once.

(There are four more who are young enough if you include members who joined last year, but I think Up-Front thinks they don’t need the extra promotion so long after the fact.)

EDIT: I’m betting on Riai or Mei.

I think Mei would be a perfect OhaGirl but that’s only if she’s committed herself to living full time in Tokyo. I sometimes get visions of all the Hokkaido girls living together in a little apartment when they all joined H!P at once. That would make a cute little comic.

Anyway, I picked Mei because it’s been a minute since a Morning Musume member has been on the show and they could use some reconnecting to the next generation of Morning Musume future fans.

idk, i don't mind it. too much isn't nice but i kinda like it.

I don't mind red eyeshadow on the upper lids, but I find that it looks "sickly" when it's under the eye.
