H!p just haven't found a more efficient way to promote them. They're not recognized as perfoming group like c-ute(dance) or mm(dance) but as a fun/interesting groups with great personalities. C-ute started to get back into the game by building the reputation of a strong singing/dancing group and constantly selling out their tour tickets. On the other hand, Berryz haven't had their own fall/winter tour for 2 years. And their spring tours are shrinking while mm and c-ute's tours are expanding. They're also the only group who didn't sell out all three FC Christmas events last year. H!p need to figure out a better way to cater Berryz if live performance is not their best strength/selling point. Tusnku needs to give them fun songs which can show their personalities and diversity.

I understand that, but I think compared to the other groups, the reason is because they aren't being promoted... For example, j=j. c-ute, and momusu get billboards... Berryz? not really... Yes, there songs aren't that good, but the fact is that they aren't even promoting the songs in the first place, so of course they aren't selling out their stuff. Plus, most of their fans are overseas, right? (that could explain the not selling out concerts.)

J=J is a new group and MM is the flagship, so they'll always get more promotion than other groups. And c-ute's revive started around kiss me aishiteru. It sold poorly but the MMD videos spread the song all over internet. Then they steadily established their image as a dance group and selling more and more concert tickets(that's before their sales' rise and before improvement on promotion). So my point is, it's not that simple. It's not all about single sales. You have to find a right way to promote the group as a whole. More importantly, find a good/interesting group image that can attract new fans. That's something H!p hasn't been able to do. But I see 1-Oku 3-Senman sou Diet Oukoku as a positive move from Tusnku. He actually try to spice things up a little. The title sounds fun and the song has potential. Let's just wait for the PV.

I disagree.

The promotion that C-ute and Morning Musume are getting come from their newfound popularity, and Juice=Juice's promotion is something UFA does with every new group to help them establish themselves.

Berryz were promoted properly, but then fell out like C-ute. C-ute made their comeback with consecutively good releases that helped them establish a reputation of being good performance idols like Morning Musume. Berryz have yet to do anything, their recent promotion BY UFA has helped them out a lot in tieing it with their 10th year anniversary. They're not shoved aside when they're the featured act for last year's Hina-Fes. C-ute do get newspaper advertisements but conversely Momochi also promotes their new singles when she can on her TV appearances.

This isnt the company's fault at all. Heck, next thing you know people will be blaming Maasa's weight gain on UFA. :mikihead:

They feed her donuts in her sleep, then put her on stage with the other voluptuous girls so they don't appear quite as large anymore.

Part of me still believes that Momochi releasing her debut single, as her persona, would sell better than Berryz as a group. :mikihead:

Wasn't "Momochi! Yurushite Nyan ♡ Taisou" her debut?

And, if Momochi had a "debut" single (with no BK tie in) wouldn't it sell as many as your typical TV talent releasing a single (as in somewhere in the neighborhood of 1,500)?

And most likely make Berryz sell better XD.

I wish they would make her a main vocal for a song. I need another Gag100.

Momochi would absolutely outsell Berryz. Like Kirarin did with Momusu back then. It needs to happen
