So were ANGERME and °C-ute just scattered into the medley or something?

C-ute was mainly featured during Heavy Rotation, but I doubt anyone noticed who they were.
Same for Angerme.

MM only got featured more because they sang their own songs.

Overall though, they weren't all that bad. It was cool to see at least all groups had fun singing with each other.

^^
The tagline for the medley was that it was a medley with 99 idols in it, so I'm pretty sure C-ute and ANGERME were there to pad out the numbers, as was the other Stardust groups and the other 46 group. It did seem like though that the H!P idols got a lot more screen time than those group, maybe to make up for the fact that they didn't get an H!P member only song like Stardust did.

I'm glad they were included, but this already seems disappointing compared to what that news article had set up.

I knew it. I knew FNS and Fuji TV would pull something like this for TV ratings and their bias for AKB48. very disappointing. making another idol group sing another idol group's song is a disaster. no screentime for H!P. ugh :glare: I can't even enjoy it. This is not how I wanted Sayashi's last music show to be like.

I was honestly disappointed because ANGERME and °C-ute got shafted. Airi and Ayacho were stuck in the back in a dark corner, seriously? I saw Maimi got a group line in Hebirote and ANGERME in LM, but that was it. I can imagine how Ebichu and Team Syachihoko fans feel about this too, but at least they got their own company song.

It was fun seeing the different styles of each group:

1. H!P put more emphasis on singing and individual lines (9-10-11th gen all had a chance to stand out in their songs) and their expressions were more serious, less idol-like in general (well, except for Ikuta...)
2. 48/46 focused on whole-group performances and wore "plain" outfits. Their songs and live performances clearly aren't where members are supposed to stand out the most unless they try really hard.
3. Stardust showed their individuality and their ability to entertain a crowd. Extravagant performances are definitely their bread and butter.

Keyakizaka46 really had no business in this live, no matter how much I like Seifuku no Manekin. I wish H!P had gotten the same treatment as Stardust with their own song instead (why Chai Maxxx though?).

Truthfully, this performance made me feel I supported the best idol company so all in all, it wasn't bad.

It also solidified Ikuta's position as my least favourite H!P member.

I actually really liked the performances over all (It was all made worth it by the Erina/Reni moments, but I absolutely agree Keyakizaka46 had no business being there. Stop riding the coattails of your sister groups and do your own thing 48s/46s!

I mean, overall I have nothing against the 48s/46s in general... but man I find their live performances kind of boring. Not very dynamic at all.
