Notice about Yokoyama Reina

Thank you for your continued support of Hello! Project and Morning Musume '25.

Yokoyama Reina has been experiencing ear discomfort since early August. Hospital examinations revealed signs of sudden deafness, and she has been continuing her activities while undergoing treatment. However, since last week, she has experienced symptoms such as dizziness. Following a re-examination, she has been diagnosed with an acute exacerbation of Meniere's disease.

After consulting with her doctor, it has been determined that rest and treatment should be her top priority this week.
Additionally, her doctor has instructed her to refrain from long-distance travel by airplane.
Therefore, she will be absent from the following performances and events.

9/27 (Sat): Shanghai Concert
9/28 (Sun): Taipei Event
9/29 (Mon): Taipei Concert

We sincerely apologize to all fans who were eagerly awaiting her appearance, as well as to all involved parties.
She herself was very much looking forward to taking the stage. We sincerely hope for your understanding, including regarding the late notice.

Moving forward, we will carefully monitor her condition and consult with her physician before making any decisions.
We will provide an update as soon as a decision is made.
We are striving for her swiftest possible recovery and ask for your continued support of Morning Musume '25.

To all of you who always support me,

Since early August, I've been experiencing ongoing ear discomfort and have been continuing my activities while receiving treatment at the hospital.
In order to stand before you all again in good health, I will be taking a short break.
I myself was really looking forward to the overseas live performances. I'm filled with regret.
To everyone who was eagerly waiting, I'm sorry for the inconvenience and worry this has caused.
I will do my best to return before you all as soon as possible.
