Announced at Morning Musume's 21st anniversary event today, double A-side single "Furari Ginza / Jiyuu na Kuni Dakara" (フラリ銀座／自由な国だから), release is 10/24.

Morning Musume. '18 perform their new song "Jiyuu na Kuni Dakara" at the end of the event.

There will also be an additional track included titled "Y Jiro no Tochuu" (Y字路の途中)

My dream single.

I want Furari Ginza to be fun and flashy and elegant. Just like Ginza. No cheap white costumes, fashionable would be nice. Outdoor setting would be cool.
Jiyuu na kuni Dakara, google translate makes this feel like it's going to be some deep meaning of a song. I don't know. Just don't give me another A Gonna, that's all I ask for this single.

Oh, and an Iikubo center. That seems like Furari Ginza might be her song. Fashion and Iikubo go together very well. (I still love her visual book and if you haven't gotten a hold of it yet, you totally should!)

Edit- Those are definitely giving me Cover You vibes. OMG I love it. I hope the song to whatever those outfits are for are in the 60'/70'ss style. I'd be very happy.

Aaaaand this is my jam for this single. I feel like it's been a while (Sou Janai maybe?) since hearing a key change in a main MM single but two in one song?

Much as I like the song, I'm hoping for (everyone's complaint) big solos for someone other than SakuMizuMaa in the other songs.

Its a edgier, uptempo EDM arrangement, but the song is in a cool minor key tune

This is almost certainly/definitely Harunan's final single, right?

Hopefully she gets some decent screen time/lines, given her massive growth from where she started she totally deserves it.

Also, she easily got the cutest outfit.
